My Mother, Sylvia Tabb-Lee, daughter and I had an opportunity to create a learning experience for students in the fifth installment in this seven-part series, entitled When Freedom Came, by PBS & the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, discover how enslaved Americans made everyday choices during the Civil War that helped bring about their freedom.
